Be Prepared

Black Friday and Cyber Monday have the potential to make or break your year. You're going to start seeing a lot of advice around how to get ready for it but the best advice is to be prepared and have options. Things will go wrong and how you deal with them will matter the most. The more preparing you do now, the better chances that you'll be able to use thoughtful, pre-rehearsed plans to counter any problems.

It's all in the positioning

Unless you produce all of your own products, you're going to have to face the fact that you'll have competitors. Even if you do produce your own products, customers will have substitutes that they can buy instead of yours. That's why it's important to differentiate yourself from your competitors.
