Hourly Consulting is Dead

After 5 years of offering custom programming and development services by the hour, I’ve decided to retire those services.

The main reason is that, although charging $200/hour to work with clients is lucrative, I only want to work on long-term projects now where neither my client nor I have to worry about watching the clock.

It’s a lot more fulfilling. It’s a lot more freeing.

So I’m no longer doing hourly consulting.

Instead, I will be taking a few long-term clients a few times each year. And work with them for 3-6 months.

I’ll do everything in my power to help them build a successful business, or improve their existing one.
