Automatic customer segmenting, without any AI, tricks, or gimmicks

With the holiday season over, I'm gearing up development for both JSON-LD for SEO and Repeat Customer Insights.

Yesterday I launched the first major update, automatic customer segmenting.

Repeat Customer Insights uses the powerful RFM segmenting algorithm but that algorithm can be complex to understand.

Would you know the difference between a 511 and a 244 customer?

Even I have to stop and think about those.

How about the difference between a New Customer and a Defection Risk Loyal customer?

That's a bit easier right?

Automatic customer segmenting with RFM

This update now converts the 125 different RFM segments into around 30 labeled, easy-to-understand segments.

Each segment includes a description and advice about what kinds of campaigns you can use to reach and incentive them (and why you might not bother marketing to some segments).

This update has been a long time coming and now that it's ready, its unlocked a lot more really powerful ways to segment your customers. Some have only been available to big businesses in the past.

This automatic segmenting is available on all accounts so if you haven't installed Repeat Customer Insights yet or you last looked at it awhile ago, it might be worth a look.

There's a 14-day trial for new customers so you get to try it out. (If you've previously tried it and want a second look, email me before installing and I'll refresh your trial for you)

P.S. And the new segments are available in the customer export along with the raw RFM data if you want to build even more complex segments.
