An update for the Cohort Report in Repeat Customer Insights has been released. This update changes the Customer Orders by Cohort.
Previously the first column, Month 0, would show how many new customers bought in the initial month. This is the same as the cohort size as a whole.
That data has now been separated out into two columns.
- The Total column will now show the cohort size.
- The Month 0 column shows how many customers bought again in the initial month.
This added field will make it easier to see cohorts with customers who rapidly bought again early in their lifecycle. Due to their responsiveness, these could be prime cohorts to offer flash sales or timed-based offers too. Or it could be the result of really effective campaigns running at that time. Or even the result of a post-purchase offer attracting additional orders.
Lots of behaviors that can now be spotted.

Repeat Customer Insights will automatically group your customers into cohorts based on when they first purchased. This will let you see how the date customers bought would impact their behavior.
