This Black Friday trend is crystal clear for Shopify stores

46% in 2015.

54% in 2016.

64% in 2017.

66% in 2018.

And now 69% in 2019.

That's the trend of how many sales happen on mobile during Black Friday / Cyber Monday across all of Shopify.

Yet a lot of stores still design for desktop first and then leave mobile as an afterthought.

Most Shopify themes support mobile out of the box but any tweaks or customizations need to be made with a mobile mindset too.

Mobile encompasses so much: design, performance, usability, asset sizes, etc.

The stores that fully embrace mobile and treat it like the 69% partner it is will profit. While everyone else fights over the leftover scraps.

One thing that Shopify themes don't do a good job with is structured data.

They don't quality for Google's Rich Results so your store will lose out on highly visible SEO enhancements.

JSON-LD for SEO provides high-quality data that will let your store qualify for Rich Results. Often times faster than the industry averages.
