Double your traffic, double your revenue

Recently I was talking with a business owner who was seeing some significant revenue growth.

He wasn’t sure exactly why because he rolled out a lot of changes recently: a redesign, better sales copy, and SEO work.

When we went over his sales funnel, we found that the majority of the growth was because he was getting more traffic.

Same traffic sources.

Same cart abandonment rates.

Same conversion rates.

The only difference was more traffic and thus, more sales.

So while his redesign and sales copy might have helped a little bit, most of his recent success was from his SEO work.

The whole traffic, conversions, revenue relationship probably sounds simple, and it is, but a lot of businesses forgot about how it works and over-complicate things.

Double the number of people coming to your store and you’ll double your revenue.

Double your conversion rate and you’ll double your revenue.

Everyone needs this reminder now and then.

On the traffic front, Google likes to hand out search enhancements to those websites who help them and their searchers. That’s why adding structured data to your Shopify store can be a valuable option.

With JSON-LD for SEO it’s even easier. The app will automatically add the data needed for search enhancements like Rich Results and Rich Snippets on products, blog posts, landing pages, and more.

Already trusted by a few thousand Shopify stores since 2015, it’s the safe and efficient choice for structured data.
