The gift (card) that keeps on giving

With the holiday season wrapping up soon, shipping windows are fast closing.

Now would be a good time to start any gift card campaigns you have, especially if you're setup for digital gift cards.

Shopify's made gift cards available to all merchants as their response to help lessen the impacts of COVID-19. They might go away later on but they'll be around for at least the remainder of the month.

Even after the feature goes away, customers can still redeem any cards they purchased so there's no downside to taking advantage of gift cards now.

Who knows, maybe they'll stay around permanently.

But whatever the case, gift cards could be some extra last-minute sales for your store and relatively easy to add last-minute.
