To make this work you’ll want to invest a little bit of time. How much will depend on your order value and volume. Ideally you’ll want to pick something that would only take an hour of your day to go through the day’s orders.

Even though it can’t be automated directly, this can scale quite a bit. You can spread out the work to different members of your team. Or automate the collection of the customers to thank into a report, saving you time going through the data.

Gestures like this can build up the relationships with each customer and give them a positive experience with your store. Over time that’ll translate into a better and more responsive customer base.
