For a couple of months now, I’ve been highlighting new features in Repeat Customer Insights with a tiny badge. Here’s one feature that I just released yesterday:
It’s a simple bit of a code but it can draw attention to things that would otherwise be missed.
They work especially well on products. “New product”, “New colors”, “Longer battery life”, etc.
A designer could easily create a similar one for your store and there are plenty of apps and theme options to add them. Tom, a good friend of mine runs one called Flair.
Badges also work well outside of product attributes. You can use them to call-out important resources or shipping deadlines or upsell offers or even silly puns.
All they take is a bit of color, bit of text, and a touch of design.
Use cohorts to find out who the best customers are in your Shopify store
Repeat Customer Insights will automatically group your customers into cohorts based on when they first purchased. This will let you see how the date customers bought would impact their behavior.
