Most ecommerce store's revenue cycles through the year in a regular pattern (cyclical, seasonal).
Typically this is high sales in early winter due to holiday gifts, a slump at the beginning of new year, increase leading into summer, etc. Others might be on a different cycle, e.g. swimwear will peak leading unto summer, drop in fall, and have a small spike in January.
These busy months with a lot of activity are great to watch in cohort reports. It's easy enough to see revenue increase in sales reports but cohort reports can help you see if those customers come back and how often they do.
Convincing your busiest cohorts to come back is going to have a larger impact on your bottom line that targeting all customers.
To make this even easier, in Repeat Customer Insights you can subscribe to specific cohorts. Then the system will send you an email automatically every week or month with the current metrics.
This can let you keep track of those customers through the year (and for years to come).
