When you bundle products there are a few things to keep in mind:
-
Include best selling products, as well as complementary products and products that build the best long-term customers (use Repeat Customer Insights to check which those are).
-
Set the price above your Average Order Value to help to pull up your overall AOV.
-
Start with 2-3 different bundles and every 60-90 days replace the lowest performing bundle with a fresh one.
-
Consider "launching" each new bundle to your existing customers to attract their attention and interest.
Bundling products can be a very rich product strategy but like everything else, it requires some experimentation and idea testing. Sometimes you'll win by following everyone's advice, other times you'll only win by breaking every rule out there.
But keep experimenting.

Retain the best customers and leave the worst for your competitors to steal
If you're having problems with customers not coming back or defecting to competitors, Repeat Customer Insights might help uncover why that's happening.
Using its analyses you can figure out how to better target the good customers and let the bad ones go elsewhere.
