When should I update my theme for Shopify’s Online Store 2.0 update?

Ilana Davis wrote about why you should be cautious jumping into the Online Store 2.0 upgrade. The parts I’ve looked at also feel like they are a developer-preview and missing key documentation. There’s already been at least one major incompatibility.

Maybe in a couple of months it will have been tested and stabilized but then you’re running up against the winter holiday season. A time when you want stability above all else.
