Every time I release or update my Shopify apps, a suite of tests runs on my computer and on a testing server.
I do that to make sure nothing breaks, but there’s a side benefit too.
That means I get 5-10 minutes of spare time each release, which can happen multiple times per week.
Right now, I’m using that to write this email about spare time (how meta!), but I’ll also use it to take a break, walk around the office, or answer a few support emails.
Don’t feel obligated to cram work into every minute either. If your brain needs a break or you haven’t gotten outside all day, either of those is probably the better choice.
All of the tests just finished so it’s back to getting the release ready. Time to wrap this email up.
Use cohorts to find out who the best customers are in your Shopify store
Repeat Customer Insights will automatically group your customers into cohorts based on when they first purchased. This will let you see how the date customers bought would impact their behavior.
