Send gift cards directly to the recipient, and include a message
Shopify's Dawn theme now has the ability to send gift cards to the recipient with a message. It's interesting that this functionality was built into Shopify's theme instead of the platform itself.
Other themes could follow suit as Dawn's code is public and easy to mimic.
Dynamic sources for blogs and articles now live
High amounts of tech jargon in the post and help doc but basically it sounds like you can now access custom Blog data in the Theme Customizer. For example if you wanted to define custom calls-to-action for each blog category and have those coded to show up in a post in each category.
Definitely useful if you do a lot of content marketing with Shopify blogs.
